I've been following your journey. The pictures look great and I'm jealous. I need to make the trip home through snow and freezing rain. Thanks for sharing so frequently... it looks like fun. Hi Jen!

Hi everyone! Sounds like a great trip so far. You've already heard about our great weather at home... Take some group shots at some key points and keep us up to date on the biggest differences between our production and theirs -- as time permits, of course. At what density are most of the orchards? Have a blast! Bruce

Your photos and dialog are wonderful!! My wife Barb and I will be visiting New Zealand next month for a few weeks and you are giving us a great taste of the area. Keep up the good work and give a hug to "lotta leaf two" from Bob and Barb in snow and ice covered Biglerville. (btw, no school again today for the second day!!)

Hey guys, looks like fun. One question, Am I seeing correctly that they have some colored nettings? Are they seeing benefits from different colors?

The pictures are great--thanks for keeping us posted on your travels. I have several phone calls from people reading your posts and they say how much they are enjoying reading and viewing the scenes--they just have not taken the time to write. Very cold here--schools closed yesterday because of snow, ice and rain.....Enjoy the Kiwi climate. I won't ask for some group pictures or a picture of Chesley--I am telling you to post them--Matt, this is your mother speaking!!!!!

Judi and I are really enjoying the pictures and write-ups. We are learning a lot about NZ and blogging.

We left Wilmington, NC Sunday morning in short sleeve and shorts weather and arrived home in time to see it snow.

Cool pictures! What a great trip! The weather looks better there than here. How are they successful growing fruit on the other side of the globe from their markets? Hopefully you will learn things that we can apply here in Adams County. Pay close attention, and that means you, Leighton. Have a wonderful time and travel safely.

Happy 18th Hannah!
Hope you all get to enjoy the town this weekend and get some rest for the last leg of your trip.
I love the effects of the colored netting!
Group shots showing the keen interest and involvement of all the group as they participate in the many rewarding experiences would be great!
Happy Birthday, Hannah! from your parents, your brother and Nanny. Maybe we'll even have cake and blow out a few candles!

Got pics??? Ben Wenk does...

New Zealand 2008 Ben actually has a bunch more pics, but blogger and/or webshots will only post 50 at a go. Click on the Dusky dolphin pic below to see all of Ben's snaps. Image hosted by Webshots.com
by housemanpsu I hope that you are able to see Ben's captions. When I loaded the album on the web last night they were there but when I just logged into add this note they were not. No html programming has changed...hummm...this blog thing can really challenge you!!! Cheers, Mary
